My most recent video... It is a hunting video (pigeons / doves), so if you don't like hunting, do NOT watch the video. Seriously guys, I don't want to have that conversation again. ;) All birds killed were eaten. Ted

Bluesman, that is pretty cool. And it would be nice to have on hand at the range! But, I HATE fancy cellphones. I'm a traditionalist - I use phones for talking to other humans. Anyway, part 2 of the Casio EX FC150 Scope Camera is now uploaded. Enjoy!

Okay gentlemen - I'm done discussing whether or not to shoot birds. A new video is now made. And there are no birds being shot (only shotgun shells), so everyone should be happy. Do you know Chairgun Software in Russia? This is what video is about. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chairgun Pro Video Demonstration http://www.youtube.com/user/EdgunUSA?featu...u/0/Oh0MiNFKJHg

Thank you for the compliment re: the video. And I agree with your sentiments! Those birds that were killed in the video are harmful. All are originally from Europe, and none are protected by my government. They spread disease to the animals (goats) on the farm. They also harm native and beneficial birds (such as bluebirds and purple martins). I am not an irresponsible shooter. A small amount of research would show that. If we are in agreement, why do I have to explain myself so much? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- House Sparrows a

The video says "Hunting" in the title. Do you think my viewers would enjoy a hunting video with no hunting? I don't shoot every bird that I see. I only show the viewers the birds that I DO shoot. Many many birds I did not shoot. But, you did not see those. Do you disapprove of the video? If so, why do you not follow instructions? THIS is why I opted for the Hawke Sidewinder 30 Scope (6.5-20X) The monster reticle on this scope allows me to use mil dots all the way out to 150 yards at 20X power. That's 20x, not 10x, guys! This is exactly what I wanted, and the primary reason I bought this scope (besides the good glass, micro-slim reticle, and solid construction). Yes, it's heavy at 26 ounces. But, I can accept that, if I don't have to adjust the turret knob. I'm a hunter and so is my Edgun. We don't like "clicking" when we see a crow at 100+ yards. Take a look at me plinking cans of beer at 30-150 yards without any

Yesterday, I received my new Hawke Sidewinder. It's everything I expected (including the weight). I've never felt more "set" than I do right now. My Matador + this Hawke is a lethal hunting rig. The Hawke does a few things better than my Leapers Accushot. The glass is better. The reticle is thinner. The mildots are true at 20x (I really like this), and there are 1/2 dots. And the AO "locks" in better. Here they are next to each other: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/unirdna/P1020085.jpg Here's a 10-shot group @ 100 yards using 3.5 mildot holdover at 20X. I think I have a good example for you. Listen to Ed shoot a Matador without the depinger: That ringing sound is what the "depinger" removes. The hammer striking the valve still makes a tiny "ping", but it is very small (only 5% as much as the original "ping" sound). Many Russian fellas have emailed me saying that this is a stupid idea, because you waste too much space in the air tube. It is true that I lose about 2 shots due to the depinger taking up space. To me, the reduction of the sound is worth the trade of the two shots. It is a choice we all must make. I simply show you

Thank you, Bluesman. To synchronize videos, I crop (cut) one video segment to match the other. This is done with editing software. Both videos are captured at the same speed (and I also slow them to the same speed for slow-motion video). So, I only need to synchronize once.

Shooting Beers @ 170 Yards. This is my 2nd and final entry to the Pyramyd Air video contest. My videos aren't as visually stimulating as many of the others, but hopefully the judges will like my "just the facts, ma'am" style. Win or lose, I had fun making them. Here are the details: Rifle: Edgun Matador #2339 .22cal Scope: Leapers Accushot SWAT 4-16x 56mm AO Illuminated Reticle Pellets: JSB Exact Heavy Jumbo 18.1g Bipod: Harris 6-9" Beer: MGD 64 (expired, and not my cup of tea anyway) Wind: 5mph from the NorthEast (45 degree angle to shooting range)

First 2 Matadors on their way to Oslo.....

I was going to say that the wait would be horrible....until I looked at where you will be "waiting". You're a lucky guy, Trygve! That should not be too difficult. Out of curiosity, why two of the same model? Why not different calibres/models?

Very nice! I think that a bigger scope may get awkward. That little Leupold looks like a good fit, and the glass is very clear. I suppose if I had a more powerful scope on hand, I would mount it for a day at the range. But, I would return the smaller scope for hunting. And, nice place you have there!

For my "ultimate scopecam", I guess I would keep things as they are, and simply add the Casio Ex-FC150 camera. I would love to have more zoom and higher definition at fast speed. But, this would come at the cost of added weight/bulk. Keeping things small/light is very important. I will buy that camera within a year, and then the videos will be even more fun! One more thing - I've added a new video highlighting the specifics of the camera mount.
  15. My "USA" stock surely will not last much longer. I'm sure that my shooting will suffer if my gun is without a stock. Thank You! Ted

Trygve, I agree with both of your suggestions. The lighting was not what I wanted. But, it is what I had to accept. If I had remembered to simply switched on the LED light on my camera, you would have been able to see the internals much better. For what it is worth, the breech is very easy to remove. I comes off in 1-2 minutes. So, go ahead and take a look for yourself. The "before" and "after" sound comparison has been requested by many many people besides you. I should have addressed that point in my video. I actually did make a recording of the gun shooting before and after t

Yeah, registering was a stumble in the dark, but I managed. International friends, new videos have been added: Shooting golf tees at 50 yards and Vinyl tubing depinger installation (Mamcrackin showed me that one). http://www.youtube.com/user/EdgunUSA#p/u/0/YBmZcnhlNtw

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! And here's the information you requested, zocoloco. I keep no secrets. Camera is a Panasonic DMC-TS1. There are better options out there, but this one is okay - it's HD (720p). Mount is the Seben DKA2 - $60. Seben in a European company. The mount is only available on eBay for US buyers. The mount can swing to the side, so the shooter can use the scope normally if he wants. Whatever camera you select, it must be capable of using the Macro setting for video. This seems to be the only way to get a good, clear focus on the cross hairs. I set thi
  19. Hello my Russian friends. I see (from Youtube statistics) that many of you have already found my video channel . For those who have not, I welcome you to visit. And I thank Eduard for making his rifle available to the boys across the pond. All the best, Ted http://www.youtube.com/user/EdgunUSA
