2010 Very nice! I think that a bigger scope may get awkward. That little Leupold looks like a good fit, and the glass is very clear. I suppose if I had a more powerful scope on hand, I would mount it for a day at the range. But, I would return the smaller scope for hunting. And, nice place you have there!

2010 Thanks everybody... Yes it is a nice place. And it's where I do most of my shooting/testing for the Norwegian forum where I am one of the senior moderators and where I write reviews of anything from guns to pellets and various accesories.... I spend 6 weeks there every summer. This is a part of "the harem" that accompanied me this summer: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/58a9ced9.jpg Now, - give it a go and try to name them all from left to right........ An improvised 50 mtes/55yds range has been set up with a CED M2 chronograph working with infrared light. Like that I get all my chronostrings from the very same conditions: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/200905Testbenkenbakfra.jpg As you may know, chronos do show very different results depending on light as well as make. In fact my three chronos can never agree between themselves on velocity so I tend to stick to the one with the most conservative readings. Unfortunately I have not had the time to put Lelya 090 through "my mill" but I will as soon as time permits......... But life is not all about shooting..... A lot of my time down there is spent like this: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/fbf15ecc.jpg It does not get much better...... During winter and this sort of thing: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/bbca6f5f.jpg I evacuate as soon as I can, - but that's another story..... Cheers....... It seems the Rapid is missing. I can not tell what the gun with strap is and I have no idea about springers... Very very nice place youhave.... I can not like the snow but the rest looks great.... zocoloco 2010 ....I suppose if I had a more powerful scope on hand, I would mount it for a day at the range. But, I would return the smaller scope for hunting. I fully agree...... The entire idea behind Lelya is that she is supposed to be small and nasty. And a heavy weight scope would actually ruin the entire concept. But as I am veeery curious as to what she is capable of in terms of accuracy with various pellets, - she will have to accept a heavier scope for a while as well as being tied down to a bench.... But the Leupold EFR 3-9x33 will certainly remain her favorite companion in the field......... Trygve, not for sure but look like 3 Daystate Air Rangers, a Beeman Falcon, a Falcon FN19, a AA S410, and an EV2 on the table... It seems the Rapid is missing. mamcrackin 2010 Trygve, that is a great collection.... If you find yourself with free time, the Falcons can be regulated with an Audrius regulator.... I am getting 32 shots at approx 930FPS with 18.1gr JSB... You can request the output setting and the regulator is adjustable....http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php...alcon+regulated
2010 I'm familiar with Audrius' regulators that have been fitted into a few AA410s here.... May be one of these days, - the shotstring certainly may be improved, especially for the Lighthunter....
2010 Back to topic....: I have been wanting to chrono my Lelya for a long time, and as it was raining today, it was a good day to take her dowstairs to my basement. I have a simple 30 m (may be extended to 50 m) range set up in seconds down there. Its actually the car park under the building, but with everybody away for the weekend, shooting is no problem. My chrono is a CED M2 working with infrared light. Her readings are a bit on the conservative side, typically some 10/15 fps lower than my Chrony's, - but then I have yet to see two chronographs giving exactly the same reading anyway. Very strange indeed, - but that's how it is..... Pellets used were HN Barracuda Match 10.65 grs. Lelya was filled up to approx 220 bar, and then the fun started. I shot groups of 10 shots each and kept going for 5 complete groups and five more shots. All together 65 shots with the last few shots dropping fast and pressure was down to approx. 90 bar. Lelya was supported by a sand bag on a table and my shoulder. Here's what the complete Lelya shotstring looked like: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/fb7bd01d.jpg ED has promised approx 50 good shots, and apparently he is right ! I find it difficult to believe that I really got this many shots from the minuscule reservoir that Lelya is equipped with. The tank is only 83.5 cc .....! An approx. average of 780 fps with a 10.65 grs pellet is approx. 14.4 ft/lbs. Not bad at all.......!! And here was my target looked like, - and again I am very impressed indeed with this little lady: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/4e74c879.jpg I was not really focusing on tightest possible groups for this exercise, - but that Lelya is able to deliver is beyond any doubt............ I haven't had this much fun for a loooong time.....

2011 Allow me a quick update: Lelya no 90 is still doing fine and delivers som remarkable results in the field with her new "glasses". Here she is with Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/51773b9c.jpg A bit of an overkill, - but a must for lang range accuracy............
