    EdgunUSA - Edgun Matador #2339

Apparently only sold via Ebay. I have been looking around, but cant find it anywhere else..... Difficult to find in Norway unfortunately. I may have to buy from the US (Amazon) as my friends in Lanzarote don't stock them..... Now that one is truly interesting. Not as a scopecam, but to document pellets and how they fly..... Also super when it comes to document the behavior of your rife (recoil, twist etc.). Deffo on my shopping list. Thanks again for the tip...!!! For "dummies" ? In that case perfect for me !!!! ;) I have been working as a photog

    EdgunUSA - Edgun Matador #2339

Hi there, - and just for the record, I am deeply admiring your shoooting as well as videos..... BUT with regards to the depinging one, - I would have considered a different lightning all together. In bright sunshine like this, shadows are often difficult to conquer. As a result, parts of the video is difficult to see. Especially when you hold the gun close to the camera for viewers to see "the internals".... That said, I shall test out your method on my Lelya when time permits..... It is amazing how easy it seems to reduce that little unwanted noice, - and your idea seems brillian

    EdgunUSA - Edgun Matador #2339

Hello Ted, - from Oslo, Norway ! That looks like a brilliant setup. I am waiting for my two Matadors to arrive here, - and I would like to copy your set-up one way or the other. Is it possible to have a little more detailed picture of your set-up ? Or is this "classified" material ? Fantastic shooting by the way, - and some great videos...... Thanks.....
  6. Hi all, Sorry to "infiltrate" the EDgun US-forum, - but as it happens, there are a lot of English speaking air-freaks out there in the big world..... And when it comes to EDgun, - there is so far no spesific English speaking forum for Edgun apart from this one. So I hope you dont mind taking other English speaking EDgunners onboard on this site. It seems a wonderful way to meet and discuss with others across the globe... English is spoken all over the world, - and it seems a shame to limit this forum for US-citizens only........... What do you think ? I myself live in Oslo, Norwa

I don't think I can get a more compact "travel-outfit" than this: http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/7c5aedae.jpg All slips into one small bag......... Scope is Leupold EFR 3-9x33 in detachable weaver mounts..... Very handy indeed............

    Matador in the 6.5 styling...

Shooting at velocities too high is a very common mistake. Lots of people would go for the added kill power offered by high velocities, - but then frequently miss their target....... That said, the supply and choice of pellets in the cal.25 format is not a big one, - compared with cal. 22. It seems to me that less research may have gone into producing the ultimate cal.25 pellet simply because the demand is nothing like cal .22 (or .177 for that matter). The new JSB kings may have changed that. In my experience the new Daystate Rangemasters did not........

    Matador in the 6.5 styling...

Firstly, I have not really had the opportunity to test the JSB Kings a lot, but I hear they are good and in many instances they group better than the Barras in cal.25 (6.35 mm). Secondly, I have not had the pleasure of shooting the Matador yet, but I hope that will change soon.... I have three cal. 25 guns: The Daystate AR80 ft/lbs, A Theoben Rapid MK II, and a custom Daystate Huntsman... The latter is the most accurate of the three, but unfortunately I dont have pictures. The Daysstate AirRanger 80 is a laugh. It spits out Barracudas at 320 m/s (1050 ft/sec) but you cannot hit a bar

    Matador in the 6.5 styling...

Don't expect too much from them. I have tried them in several of my cal.25 rifles and they do not deliver to my expectations. Even Daystate's own AirRanger 80 (ft/lbs) does not like them.... Best I've found so far is H&N Barracudas 31 grs..... Good Luck !!!

Which pellet is best for the Lelya?

Lelya 090 is performing very well with Barracuda Match 10.65 grains..... I am very impressed with this little lady !

    Lelya #090

Thanks a lot Jeff... Lelya 090 has now become a full member of my "harem". I have collected airguns for some years now, - and Lelya 090 is number 31 in the collection of fine guns that I dont think I shall ever sell........ Norway is one of the few countries where there are no limitations on power, - and hopefully we shall see more from Edgun within the near future. If they all have the same high standards as 090, the Edgun brand is bound to be a winner also in this country... I'll keep you posted........ Thanks.....

    Lelya #090

Well, I guess he did........... And Lelya 090 is now with me in Oslo, Norway. And she well not be going anywhere soon.... It is truly cool to find that your gun has a history, - and if you don't mind I may continue to update you on 090's further experiences....... I am a moderator on the Norwegian Airgunworld.org, - and you may find a few pictures of 090 here: http://www.airgunworld.org/forum/viewtopic...f=24&t=2780 Thanks....
