2010 I am shooting Air Arms 10.3gr now with good results but Iam hoping to find a pellet that works even better.... Anyadvise would be appreciated....Jeff
2010 It depends on target you shoot. The best pellets for Edgun are JSB, but Crosman will also be fine. I quess, U use your Lelya for hunting?
2010 Thanks for the advise ceolos.... The Crosman hollow points shoot really well out to about 20 meters then they start to become inaccurate... I have not tried the Crosman Premier Heavy .177 Cal, 10.5 Gr pellets yet.... I shoot JSB in all of my .22 caliber guns with great results. This is the first .177 caliber I have owned so I am not familiar with how the .177 performs with different pellets.... I am not sure if you can get Air Arms where you live.. Air Arms are manufactured by JSB also... Both have the same results but Air Arms are cheaper here. I will be using the Lelya for hunting and target shooting. I have targets set up here every 5 yds from 10 to 65yds, then one at 80, and 100 yds to test the capabilities of rifle/pellet combinations... I also have a range on another land that is 190yds... It is very interesting to shoot the Matador at that distance.... My best group with the Matador @ 190yds is just under 6" diameter.... I will continue to test different pellets to see which will perform best in the Lelya... Thanks again for your help and advise...Jeff
2010 In .177 calier, the best way would be to test as much pellets as possible and select them to your barrel and the speed, that is quite a job but just remember to clean the barrel after each pellets and them let it "burn" with few dozens of shots to shoot the other kind of pellets.
2010 Thanks Eduard.... I will follow your advise.... Gun is shooting about 800FPS with 10.3gr pellet.... Is this too fast, too slow, Average for the Lelya?

2010 Thank you for that information Eduard.... And congratulations on another beautiful, well built, and very precise gun.... Your guns are a pleasure to shoot and amaze me every time I fire them... They are on the top of the list (#1 for me) of the best air guns in the world... I give you much praise for your efforts and a big thanks to Tony for bringing them to the USA....

2010 One more question.... Are there better results with 4.51 or 4.52 diameter pellets?

2010 It's quite possible. Anyway, all of my friends use CP 10,5, and so do I. Results are not fantastic, but fine for that price :-)
2010 I think these pellets are JSB Exact with Air Arms label. Yes these are the same as JSB only the diameter is available in different sizes...

2011 Hi, I use JSB exact heavy, in my opinion it is good pellets for my little loly, my experience is not so big, but I think I will use only this type of pellets. For Gamo Hunter 440 I use H&N Baracuda Match 10.65 Grains, Round Nose. It is also good pellets, but I never used it for loly, may be I should try to do it, Who knows may be will be same result? During next vacation I will try to use it, and after test, I will report.
